Lukáš Zorád is the director of Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia (PDCS), trainer and facilitator. He has been active in civil society movements since 2006, He began his career in environmental education and nature conservation projects during his university tenure. He then moved to East Africa and worked on development initiatives in Kenya, Tanzania, and South Sudan for a period of 6 years. There, he gained extensive hands-on experience in bringing together divided communities - a line of work he has continued to pursue since returning to Slovakia in 2016, where he joined PDCS. Over the past ten years, he has managed numerous projects focused on the prevention of extremism and depolarization, organised five international conferences “Civic Actors in Conflicts”, and works closely with wide range of CSOs across Slovakia and Europe, contributing to the resilience of CSOs under the challenging political situation in the CEE region.
