Hans Brask is a senior executive and seasoned diplomat with extensive experience in international relations, public policy, and regional development. He currently serves as Senior Vice President for Governmental Relations at European Energy.

Prior to this, he held prominent diplomatic roles as Ambassador of Denmark to Lithuania and Latvia, strengthening bilateral relations and advancing regional collaboration in the Baltic area. His career also includes serving as CEO of the Baltic Development Forum, where he focused on strategic growth and cooperation across the Baltic Sea region.

Earlier in his career, Brask held senior positions within Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Head of Department, with postings in Brussels and Paris. He has also contributed as a government advisor on EU pre-accession strategies.

He holds an MA in Political Science from Aarhus University and an MA in History and Philosophy from the University of Essex. Born in 1962, Hans Brask brings a unique blend of diplomatic insight, policy expertise, and leadership in sustainable development.
